Protax DC-10 digital camera + Linux

Hi all,

Anybody heard of these - very small & cheap. My daughter got one for her
birthday - NOT USB - has a 25-pin serial connector and MS-Windows software
(all my hardware is 9-pin and Linux). I enjoy a challenge.....but would
life be simpler to go get a cheapo USB one?

Get a 25-9 way adapter and http://www.gphoto.org/ might help with the
rest (although that camera make isn't listed, but I suspect GPhoto
will be the only thing that talks serial)
